Family Reunification Residence Permit

- Valid passport
- Criminal record certificate (original document with an official stamp, required for children aged 16 and older)
- Employment details of the main applicant (Company name, PIB, Director’s full name)
- Spouse/parent’s valid residence permit (Boravak)
- Notarized rental agreement with a property ownership certificate (List Nepokretnosti)
- Income statement of the spouse/parent (can be obtained from their employer in Montenegro)
- Marriage or birth certificate
- Written consent from the second parent (if they cannot be present in person)
- Registration with the Tourism Inspection

- Documents proving property ownership

Family Reunification Residence Permit

- Valid passport
- Spouse/parent’s valid residence permit (Boravak)

If the basis for your residence permit changes, it is not a renewal but a new application.

- You had a work-based Boravak, but now you are starting a business or registering as a sole proprietor.
- You previously had a Boravak based on property ownership, but now you are getting a job in a company.
- You were in Montenegro on a family reunification Boravak, but your family status has changed.
Important to Know!

📌 Processing time for a new application is the same as for the initial residence permit.
